In this phase, the client takes centre stage. Gabrielle finds inspiration from the client and their space. Asking questions, observing and sketching along the way.

Artwork Creation:
Devoting alone time in the studio to let the magic come forth. This is when Gabrielle will embody the emotion she wants her artwork to portray using sensory recall exercises and meditation practice to get herself into that space.
She uses her whole body in a physical approach to transfer that feeling into the paint, often dancing with her artworks. What a joy it is for her to create.

Phase 4 -
Installation:

As the artwork nears completion, Gabrielle handles professional framing and installation. This service is an integral part of her approach, ensuring the artwork is curated in your space as she envisions it, with quality and creative hanging techniques.
She personally oversees the installation process, providing precise guidelines to enhance the art's aesthetic appeal and delivers the certificate of authenticity to the buyer on the install date.

Creation
Established artist with a unique approach
Energetic Expressionism - is the name I have given to the way I create. I combine my intuition, learned techniques and emotional recall with a splash of physicality and performance at the application stage.
Combining my diverse training and varied arts career I utilise my directorial and casting experience when seeing what emotions I want my audience to feel - to convey these I embody my dance and sensory acting techniques during the application of the paint. The combination of this, plus the integration of traditional mark-making and design techniques result in a visual storytelling unique to me.

Balancing the certainty of my approach with the uncertainty that is required to allow abstraction to flow, is a challenge I enjoy tackling every day.
​
Gabrielle studied a bachelor of creative arts at Deakin University with a double major in Visual Arts and Theatre.
