Welcome - nice to have you, not sure if you have landed you eyes upon this here text ntentionally or not, so just in case youve landed down a rabbit hole while mindlessly scrolling in the hopes of tomorrow not coming as quickly - youve found yourself in a wierd spot - but it might turn out ok... i do have loads of stories people always like to hear.. so this is what your dealing with before you choose if you are going to move on or stay...

You are essentially reading my artist's blog - im 37, a lesbian, I didnt know until i was 28 though ,, for sure sure.. I was raised in a Christian missionary family with very kind and giving parents - too kind and giving I think to do this day. I was a radical personality and always pushed a bit hard at what i htought i was meant to do - and ended up a teenage fundamentalist who would pace aroudn in t shirts with th gospel and worry about eeryones soul in the street. Literally wearing the weight of the world (or so i thought) on my own shouylders. I started street preaching and trying to heal the sick, I found myself not only in a cult, but essentially a founding member - i made a bad log for teh group and everything, anywasy i left first at 19 as i couldnt stand the sexism essentially - so yay for that - after i left heaven on earth i had the enormous task of trying to find my feet in a world i didnt know even as a kid as i was raised a s amissionary and we clowend for church camps on weekends wen to t a christian school and only had christian friends and no tv. Anyways i figured it all out and there alot to unpack but thast my backgournd - oh i shoudl say i left the cult group once I realised what it was becoming and also after almost being sent of to be a nigerian mans wife cus " God Said" .

Art has always been my friend. So now i respect it and cherish my time alone creating and marking and remebering just like with words now i use colours and shapes to remeber, release, and re ecreate

"When commissioned to create a large abstract piece for a dental waiting room, I drew inspiration by contrasting with the stark, direct nature of the space and my buyers' forthcoming nature. I decided to do a complex colour-filled piece.
Observing the waiting room's purpose, I aimed to provide patients with more than just visual distraction – I wanted to transport them into a serene realm, away from fear and anxiety.

I immersed myself in the environment, sketching the instruments, capturing textures, and incorporating the mission statement and company values.
The artwork evolved organically through the interplay of acrylic, oil, ink, and even spray paint, which I'd never used before. I embraced the process fearlessly, pushing myself in new ways to create with my naked body marks and gestures that otherwise wouldn't have been made, trusting my process like a patient trusts a dentist. The result was a tranquil and complex piece, born from a commitment to creating a visually immersive world."

NEWS
NOV 2023:
I was asked to create a work inspired by the feeling of waking up on a boat - this was purchased as a gift to be given to the buyers friend for her birthday.

I've taken to gardening and love getting in the dirt!
